Judith L. Wolf

Mrs. Judith L. Wolf, age 77, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Muskegon.  She was born on September 14, 1939 to Ralph and Elsie Leist.  Judy married Jack Wolf in July of 1958.  She had lived in Scottville, MI over the last several years and retired in 2009 from 10 years of service as secretary at the Michigan State Police Hart Post.  Her passion was Wolf Manor Collie Kennels, which she ran for more than 35+ years and placed collies all over the world.  She was a member of the Greater Muskegon County Kennel Club, Inc.  She enjoyed teaching obedience, attending US and Canadian conformation shows, along with agility and herding her collies.  She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren – her daughter, Loretta (Scott) O’Brien and son Fredric (Cindy) Wolf both of Whitehall, MI.  Three grandchildren: Tom (Lindsey) Davis of Twin Lake, MI; Ashley (Emmanuel) Davis-Adam of Edmonds, WA; Jackson (Kori Lane) Wolf of Muskegon, MI.  Four Great Grandchildren, Kaleb, Jasmine, Kaiya, and Grayson.  One Brother in Law, Jim (Betty) Wolf of South Haven, MI and multiple nephews, nieces from South Haven, MI.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home and funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Smallegan officiating.  Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s / Dementia Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
