Thomas's Obituary
Thomas Elliot Joseph Hall, 70, of South Haven, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Bronson South Haven Hospital in South Haven, Michigan. He was born December 15, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois.
After earning his bachelor’s degree from Shimer College in Chicago in liberal arts, Tom traveled to Europe and attended Oxford in England. Returning to the U.S., he worked as a photographer in San Francisco. Following his return to the Midwest, Tom worked for City College in Chicago and was subsequently employed by the City of Evanston as Cable Vision Coordinator. Moving to Michigan he changed his focus back to art and concentrated on fine woodworking and photography. He enjoyed computers, electronics, and going to yard sales. He also loved watching old movies.
Tom is survived by longtime friend and companion, Vikke Anderson of South Haven. He is also survived by a sister and brother.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church in South Haven with Father Michael Ryan officiating. Thomas will be laid to rest at Church of the Epiphany Memorial Garden.
