Linda's Obituary
Linda Rose Overhuel,51, of South Haven passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at her home in South Haven, Michigan. She was born May 2, 1965 to LaMoyne “Bub” T. Hacker and Elizabeth “Liz” (Minton) Hacker in San Antonio, Texas. Linda was a 1982 graduate of South Haven High School. She worked at Campbell’s Mushroom Factory and Pullman Industries. She enjoyed doing puzzles, sewing, flower gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Linda is survived by her children – Robert (Rachel) Bard of South Haven, Devon Overhuel of South Haven, and Deanna Overhuel of Zeeland, and several “adopted” kids. Eight grandchildren. Siblings – Lora (Craig) Blank of Dowagiac, Michigan, Larry (Julia) Hacker of Grand Junction, Lloyd (Sally) Hacker of South Haven, and Linn (Roberta) Hacker of White Cloud. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Linda will be laid to rest at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
