Alfredo R. Campos

Alfredo R. Campos, 81, of Holland, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 peacefully with his family by his side at the Laurels of Sandy Creek Nursing Home in Wayland, Michigan. He was born October 29, 1935 to Luis and Maria (Hernandez) Campos in Falls City, Texas. Alfredo loved Baseball and enjoyed going to see the White Sox or White Caps. He enjoyed listening to Tejano music and spending time with his family. He was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Church in Holland for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife – Albeza, and children – Gloria and Roberto.

Alfredo is survived by his children – Rolando and Christina Campos of Holland, Cleofas and Myrtha Campos of Holland, Frances and Richard Bos of Hamilton, Margarita and Jose Echavarria of Pullman and John and Amalia Hicks of Fennville, and son in law – Juan Betancourt of Holland. 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and one great grandchild also survive.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the St. Francis de Sales Church in Holland with Father Charlie Brown officiating. Alfredo will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Holland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be in Alfredo’s memory to the St. Francis de Sales Church.
