James's Obituary
James LeRoy Morrison, 77, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community under Hospice care. He was born September 25, 1939 to Roy and Jannie (Newell) Morrison in Oklahoma. James graduated from South Haven High School with the Class of 1959. He worked as a die maker for DuWell, National Motors and Pemco before his eventual retirement.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by daughter – Brenda Goodrich, grandson – Derrick Goodrich and sisters – Betty Phaneuf and Imogene Hogle.
He is survived by his children – James (Michelle) Morrison of Coloma, Bonnie Fowler of Coloma, and Barbara Duis of Holland, five grandchildren – Kristen Gruetzmacher, Emily, Alexandra, Ava, and Olivia Morrison, and siblings – Jay Morrison of Arkansas, Ken (Rose) Morrison of South Haven, Kyle (Trish) Morrison of Lawrence, and Audrey Mathias of St. Johns, Michigan.
