Richard's Obituary

Richard Charles Insidioso of South Haven passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 under Hospice Care. He was 81 years old.

Richard was born July 11, 1935 to Salvatore and Mary (Marcelletti) Insidioso in Chicago. Richard moved to Bangor, Michigan at the age of 11, and later graduated from Bangor High School where he excelled in football and baseball.

Richard moved on to Michigan State earning a degree in business He loved his Spartans, and remained an active alumni and season ticket holder. During his college years, he met and fell in love with his wife Eugenie, and July 8 would have marked 56 years of a wonderful, happy marriage.

Richard worked for Du Wel in Bangor, Michigan retiring as a VP of Human Resources after over 35 years. He enjoyed the many friends that he gained during his tenure.

Richard’s biggest joy was his family. He planned terrific family vacations traveling to warm climates and historic destinations. As an outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish throughout the country, and staged skeet shooting contests with his children. As a father and grandfather, he cherished going to his kids and grandkids sporting events and academic achievement ceremonies. Richard was a true sports fan, and he made it fun to watch a game with him.

He is preceded in death along with his parents by a son Michael Insidioso, and brother Robert Insidioso.

Richard is survived by his wife Eugenie Insidioso, and daughters Rochelle (Perry) Palanca of White Lake, Michigan, and Julie (Tom Tarpley) Insidioso of Phoenix, Arizona. Grandchildren, Gabrielle, Eric, and Casey Palanca. Sister-in-law Rosemary Insidioso, and nieces Barb (John Dentzman) Insidioso and Nance Insidoso and great niece and nephew Maya and Manny, and sister-in-law Carol Ann Curtis.

There will be a 10:00 am mass to celebrate the life of Richard Insidioso at St. Basil Church, 513 Monroe Blvd, South Haven, Mi 49090, Saturday, September 2, 2017 Friends and family are welcome to join us for Brunch, after the mass, at the Insidioso Home, 76661, 11th Ave, South Haven.
