Mary's Obituary
Mary Kay Bodfish, 74, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born January 1, 1943 to Glenn and Myrtle (Carter) Page in South Haven. Mary worked at Pullman Industries for 33 years before her eventual retirement. She was a member of the Family Life Vineyard Church.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Charles Bodfish, son – Michael Rasmus, and sister – Joanne Soergel.
Mary is survived by her children – Daniel (Patircia) Rasmus of Alabama, Vincent Rasmus, Cynthia Pittsley, and John (Melissa) Bodfish all of South Haven, step-children – Chuck (Sherry) Bodfish of Lacota and Cindy Lynn (Chris) Danelz of Atlanta, Georgia, sister – Virginia (George) Schnooberger. Twenty grandchildren and lots of great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 18, 2017 with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating at the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest at Lee Township Cemetery next to her beloved husband Charles.
