Mikeral (Mike) Wayne Jackson, 67, of South Haven, died Friday, December 9, 2017 at home with his little buddy Dino. He was born May 25, 1950 to Roy and Minnie (Cole) Jackson in Blytheville, Arkansas, where he attended school. Mike was seventh of thirteen children.

Mike came to Michigan in the early 1960’s with his sister, Gladys, working on farms and odd jobs until her met his love, Rosa Lynn Jackson. And to this union, four children were born. He worked for National Motors in South Haven and GM Foundry in Benton Harbor for several years. In the early 1980’s, Mike moved to Cincinnati, Ohio for twenty years. After years of being away, he returned home to Michigan in the early 2000’s to be closer to his family and friends where he remained until his death.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his only son Macker Jackson, his sister Rosie Lee Hayes, brothers Tommy Lee, Raymond, Herbert, and Jimmy Jackson, and niece Linda Lee Hayes.

He is survived by his life partner Rosa (Lil Lynn) Jackson, his daughters Linda (Vernon) Jackson, Megale Riggins of South Haven, Michelle (Roel) Ruiz of Kalamazoo, siblings Elder James Jackson, Gladys (Perry) Broady, Eddie Lee Jackson of Covert, Michigan, Roy (Pam) Jackson Jr. of South Haven, Glenda Ann (Alan) Hawkins, Sherlene (Richard) of Kalamazoo, Terry D. Jackson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, grandchildren, DeAngela (Tracy) Hegler, Cinnamon and Kaylie Jackson of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Robert Thomas of South Haven, Michigan, Tyler Jackson of Detroit, Michigan, Otis Riggins, Jr. of Bangor, Michigan, one great granddaughter Leona Gaines of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and a  host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Longtime friends William Sledge, Sr., Willie Whitfield, Rodney Jackson, Robert Thomas, Sr., Carl McMath, and Otis Riggins, Sr.
