Rodney Joseph Boucek

Rodney Joseph Boucek, 54, of Los Angeles, California, passed away November 23, 2017. He was born December 31, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri and adopted by Robert and Suzanne Boucek. After spending a year in France studying at the Sorbonne, Rodney graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and French. He later earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. Rodney loved all kinds of music and was an accomplished pianist. For the past twenty years, Rodney enjoyed working in the interior design field with Robert Gallagher Designs.

He is preceded in death by a brother – Christopher James Boucek.

Rodney is survived his partner – Robert Gallagher, parents – Robert and Suzanne Boucek, brother – Robert (Cynthia) Boucek, Jr., sister-in-law – Marie Boucek, nephews – Keegan (Jennifer), Corbin (Jordan), Travis (Victoria), and Robertson Boucek, and nieces – Sophie and Mathilde Boucek.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Our Lady of the Woods Parish in Orland Park, Illinois with Most Reverend John R. Gorman and Deacon William J. Boucek officiating. The family will receive friends and visitors at 10:00 AM in the church narthex and at a luncheon following mass at the Palos Country Club.
