Andrew's Obituary
Andrew J. Gorenz, 58, of South Haven, passed away Thursday, July 12,2018 at his home under Hospice care. He was born July 21, 1959 to Edward and Ruth (Silingo) Gorenz in Alsip, Illinois. Andrew worked various jobs in maintenance. He married Lisa Caudill in August of 1986. They shared 31 years in marriage. Andrew enjoyed the outdoors fishing and gardening. He also cherished spending time with his daughter, helping others, enjoyed giving out hugs, and cooking.
He is preceded in death by his father – Edward Gorenz, a brother – Edward Jr. and sister - Diana.
Andrew is survived by his wife – Lisa Gorenz of South Haven, daughter – Hahna Gorenz of South Haven, mother - Ruth Gorenz, and sisters – Arlene Donnelly of Manteno, Illinois and TeriAnn Wippo of St. John, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Haven. Funeral services will follow visitation at 3:00 PM with Pastor Stephen Daley officiating. Contributions may be made in Andrew’s memory to the family for an education fund for Andrew’s daughter Hahna.
