Denice's Obituary
Denice Ann Doroff-Kelley, 63, of Lacota, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at her home. She was born July 20, 1955 to George and Mary (Monniech) Doroff in South Haven. She graduated from South Haven High School with the Class of 1973. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and being outdoors riding her bike or kayaking on Lake Michigan. She also enjoyed raising chickens, “Chi-Chi”, and bird watching and especially liked cardinals. Denice loved her flowers. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in South Haven.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by a brother – George Doroff.
Denice is survived by her companion – Shawn Brown of Muskegon, children – Sonia (EJ) McNamara of South Haven and Shadd (Katie) Kropaczewski of Grand Rapids, siblings – Carol Ann (Steve) Schewe of Pullman, Annette Doroff-Blunt of Bradington, Florida, and Aaron Doroff of Hartford, grandchildren – Conrad Doroff, BreAnna Dillavou, and Jay McNamara, and nieces and nephews – Zina, Amanda, Ryan, Trevor, Patty, and Tim.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Contributions may be made in Denice’s memory to the Al Van Humane Society, PO Box 421, South Haven, MI 49090.
