Aaron's Obituary
Aaron M. Clark, 33, known affectionately as "Ay-Ay-Ron" or "Michael" passed away on February 15, 2026
He was born on November 11, 1993, in Niles, the son of Jeffrey and Brenda (Shaw) Clark. Aaron was a graduate of Edwardsburg High School. He continued his education at Southwestern Michigan College earning an Associate in Applied Science. Aaron was a proud member of the 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment of the Michigan Army National Guard.
On March 6, 2017, Aaron was married to Georgie Alexander.
Aaron's early life was marked by a close relationship with his family, which continued throughout his life. He was a free spirit who cherished quality time with his loved ones, especially outdoors. Aaron's passion for hunting and fishing was shared with his father, son, and nephews, creating lasting memories in Michigan's natural landscapes.
A graduate of Southwestern Michigan College, Aaron was known for his ambition. He proudly served in the National Guard, a commitment that gave him profound purpose and pride. Despite battling osteoarthritis, he never let this challenge hinder his spirit or determination, achieving personal milestones that inspired all who knew him.
Professionally, Aaron dedicated himself to building maintenance. His weekends were joyously spent with his family, from breakfast outings at local coffee shops to leisurely walks in the park with his children and beloved dogs, Meara and Mishka.
Aaron's infectious humor and charm made him a natural at easing any situation, often lightening the mood with laughter at just the right moment. He could often be heard saying "Better get after it!" and "Pitter patter!". A savory steak marinated in cherry peppers was among his favorite dinners, along with anything related to the carnivore diet. His love for music was eclectic, enjoying bands like Breaking Rust, Panic At The Disco, and Three Doors Down.
Surviving are his wife, Georgie Clark; their two children, Benjamin and Evelyn Clark; parents, Jeff Sr and Brenda Clark; brother Jeff Jr (Zury) Clark; nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Anne Alexander; and many friends and extended family.
Preceding him in death was his brother, Bradley Shaw.
Aaron’s family will be celebrating his life privately and there will be by invitation only. There will be a meal catering by a local church following the services.
Arrangements were entrusted to Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, Dowagiac.
