Aaron's Obituary
Aaron J. Martin, 74, of Stevensville, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 20, at 11 AM at Temple B’nai Sholom Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Aaron was born on November 10, 1951, in St. Joseph to Morris & Etta (Cohen) Martin. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1970. Professionally, Aaron was an investor working with various companies. Following a terrible accident that occurred 33 years ago that left him brain damaged and lasting effects to his vision, speech and ability to walk, Aaron maintained a positive outlook for life and a good sense of humor. He enjoyed being around dogs, watching any professional football games and fishing on Lake Michigan.
Aaron is survived by his cousins, Jay A. Fishman, Marcia Fishman, Rosalind Poynter, Marlene Flamm, Reva Wygant, Rose Undem, Ilene Cohen, Marla Mashak, Rochelle Mahler, Fanchon Cohen, David Cohen and Anita Cohen, Carol Ann Shaver, Larry Martin, Abe Martin and Steve Martin; and very special friend and care giver, Carole Reinhardt and his special care givers, Theresa Lau and Kathy Greco. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris & Etta; and sister, Raisie Martin.
