Allen's Obituary
Allen L. Newton Jr, 55 of South Haven, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Born on August 30, 1967 in South Haven to Allen Sr. and Dalles Newton.
Visitation for Allen will be at Filbrandt Chapel Funeral Home, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven, Michigan, on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 12 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Pastor Gary Guthrie will officiate. Allen will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery.
Allen is survived by parents; Allen Sr. and Dalles Newton, siblings, Martin (Kristin) Newton, Julie (Ernest) White, Jason Newton, Sharie Baxter along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Preceded in death by grandparents; Virgil (Edith) Newton and Orville (Mary) Stuard.
Allen graduated from South Haven High School. He worked for Pullman Industries as a Roll Tech for ten years. Allen, a happy bachelor, was known as a jokester always trying to make people smile and laugh. Allen was a very involved Uncle and was called Uncle Cracker by his nieces and nephews. He loved demolition derbies, dragons, collecting and building die cast and matchbook cars and his chihuahua Copper. He will be so very missed by his family and friends.
