Allen's Obituary
Allen Leroy Newton Sr., 75 of South Haven, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Allen was born on October 19, 1947 in South Haven Michigan to Virgil and Edith Newton.
United in marriage on April 7, 1967 to Dalles Louise Stuard.
Visitation for Allen will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Filbrandt Chapel Funeral Home, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven, Michigan from 12 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Pastor Gary Guthrie will officiate. Allen will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery. In leu of flowers donations may be made to the family or the Shriners.
Allen is survived by wife of 55 years, Dalles, children; Martin (Kristin) Newton, Julie (Ernest) White, Jason Newton, (Sharie) Baxter and 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and sister Linda Stuard, along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by; parents, Virgil and Edith Newton, son Allen Newton Jr. and sister Lina May Newton.
Allen worked for Whirlpool for 19 years, he then worked for the South Haven School District as a Custodian before his retirement. Allen was an amazing husband and father. He met and married the love of his life Dalles and together they raised four children. He was a good listener, hard worker, who always gave others a helping hand. He was an avid Die Cast Car collector and loved watching Barrett Jackson auctions. Besides Dalles and his family, Allen loved his 1987 Iroc Z-28 and 1985 Fiero GT. Above all else his wife and family were his world and he made sure that every day he gave them all a hug and kiss, hello and goodnight. He will be forever missed.
