Arden's Obituary
Arden Roy Strouts, age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026 in Stevensville.
Arden was born on November 22, 1939 in Manistee, MI, the son of A. Roy Strouts. Arden joined the United States Air Force in 1958 and served until being Honorably Discharged in 1962 and was an extremely proud Air Force Veteran. On December 1, 1962, Arden married the former Carolyn Kreis and the two celebrated 63 of marriage.
Arden worked as a truck driver for 30 years and gained valuable navigation skills that he always put to good use when someone asked for directions. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren during his retirement.
Arden is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Monty (Penny) Strouts and Christine (Kurt) Gerlach; grandchildren, Mitchell Strouts, Payton (Hunter) Bucks and Matthew Strouts, and Brooke Gerlach, Paige Gerlach and Brock Gerlach. He was preceded in death by his father.
A private family service will be held. Burial at Hickory Bluff Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Dementia Society of America would be appreciated.
