Dear Rodger, Steve at Andy,
My condolences on your loss. The obituary brought back many memories of our life in St Joseph where our children were born and grew up together. I also noticed that Rodger and I were on parallel paths going to St Joseph. We were both at U of M and then Viet Nam. I was also at the 1965 Rose Bowl and parade, thanks to my WWII era ship undergoing an overhaul at Long Beach Ship Yard. We both got married in 1966 and ended up in St Joseph. Steve and my son Andy became friends. It was a great time to be living in St Joseph with football state champion game and winning the swimming conference title. Losing a spouse after this many years will change your lives. As I am experiencing that, I recommend writing your biography, like I am, and remember and record all of the memories.

I worked for Rodger in the early 80's at his law firm. Barb was always so friendly when she came there to visit. I am so sorry for your loss.
