Barbara's Obituary
Barbara Ann Soos, age 70, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. She was born on July 9, 1955, to her mother, Rose Marie VanDyck (nee: Jakubowski) in Saint Joseph, Michigan.
A celebration of life gathering with Barb’s family and friends will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm the Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. Saint Joseph, Michigan 49085. For a more lasting memory, donations in Barb’s name can be made out to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Barb managed the Mole Hole Store in Downtown Saint Joseph and during her time there it was her absolute pride and joy. She later went on to work as a sales rep for Adams Remco and Applied Innovations. In her personal time Barb loved to cook, work in her garden, be around her animals and spend time out on her boat.
Barb is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Kevin Alan Stelter; stepson, Jonathan (Kelly) Stelter; mother-in-law, Patricia Stelter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose VanDyck.
