Bob's Obituary

Bobby R. “Bob” Coulson, 73, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at home.

Bob was born on August 8, 1948, to Clarence and Rosie (Moore) Coulson in Steele, MO. He graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1966. After graduation, Bob married the love of his life, Stella Smith, on August 14, 1966. Professionally, he worked as a Carpenter, mostly at Carpenters Local 413 out of Elkhart. Bob was a yard sale and flea market enthusiast. He enjoyed being outdoors and working in the garage. Most of all, Bob loved people and could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. He had an amazing gift to always make those around him smile.

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Stella Coulson; daughter, Dana Coulson; son, Randy Coulson; grandchildren, Riley, Toni, Loralei, Amber, Dale and Jasper; twelve great grandchildren and brother, Charles (Shirley) Coulson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Rosie Coulson; daughter, Sheila Warner and siblings, Telsie Weaver, Judy Stockinger and Clarence “Bill” Coulson.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at The Dowagiac Eagles #2441, 101 E. Railroad St., Dowagiac, MI.
