Brittany's Obituary
Brittany Melanie Pero, 32, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at her home. She was born November 8, 1989 to Todd Montgomery and Shawn Foley in South Haven, Michigan. Brittany was a 2007 graduate of Bangor High School and attended Lake Michigan College. She was united in marriage to Jake Pero on August 17, 2013 at Stanley Johnston Park in South Haven.
Everyone loved Brittany and enjoyed being with her. She was a homemaker whose children were the focus of her life. She enjoyed making art - working in charcoal, pastels and painting. Brittany loved to read, being on the water, going Up North, and being in the woods. She also designed and sewed her own clothing.
Brittany is survived by her husband – Jake Pero of South Haven; children – Julia Kuhens, Elijah Kuhens and Sophia Pero all of South Haven; parents – Todd Montgomery of Castle Rock, Colorado and Shawn (Mark) McCulfor of Ft. Meyers, Florida; and siblings – Richard Montgomery, Miguel Montgomery, Alexander Page, Aaron Montgomery, Mirysa McElwee, Xavier Zenghilani, Jonathan Tuggle, Robert Shelton, Jessica Montgomery, Raquel Montgomery, Veronica Montgomery.
