Cathy A. Donoho-Curtis, 70, of Dowagiac, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 4:00PM at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac, with Anthony Swisher officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Cathy’s name may be made to the family in care of Charles Curtis. Cathy was born December 26, 1950, in Dowagiac to Joseph and Martha (Rowe) Donoho. She graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1969. On May 23, 1991, she married the love of her life, Charles Curtis in Las Vegas. Cathy was a hardworking woman, she worked as an accountant for the Armory, then worked as a waitress and bartender for Legacy, and later as a department manager for Walmart for 10 years before her retirement. She had a love for football and was a die-hard University of Michigan fan. Cathy loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was always involved in all of her grandchildren’s activities and sports. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family.
Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Curtis; sons, Todd Donoho, Scott Liggett and Troy Liggett; step-children, Scott Curtis and Dondi Curtis; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Debbie (Chuck) Pries. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Bill Donoho, Jolynn Swisher and Steven Donoho.
