Charles A. Slucas, 85, formerly of Lawton, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, January 27, 2026, in Dowagiac, MI.
He was born on October 20, 1940, in Chicago, IL, the son of William and Mary (Grinis) Slucas.
Surviving are five nieces and nephews, Alison Slucas, Victoria (Shawn) Wolfe, Julia Slucas, Matthew Slucas, and Elizabeth Slucas; and numerous extended family members.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Beverly (Hacker) Slucas; parents; and two brothers, William Slucas and David Slucas.
Honoring Charles’ wishes, cremation has taken place and his family is planning a Celebration of Life service for summer 2026.
Arrangements were entrusted to Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, Dowagiac, MI.
