Clifford W. Murphy, 71, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Wood Ridge Assisted Living, South Bend.
Clifford was born on June 23, 1954, in Niles. He attended Niles High School. Cliff went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army.
Over the years, Cliff held many roles in the community, working in handyman services, roofing and truck driving. Known for his dependable nature, he was always ready to help friends and neighbors with projects, big or small. Above all, Cliff treasured time spent with his family and held a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews.
Cliff is survived by his brother, Michael (Ruth) Murphy of North Dinwiddie, Virginia; sisters, Sheila (Ted) True of Niles, MI, Sue (Tom) Voss and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Billie (Thomas) Medders.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Sumnerville Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.swemchapel.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swem Chapel, Buchanan, MI.
