Courtney Hershberger, 29, of Niles, passed away tragically on Monday July 21, 2025.
She was born on March 27, 1996, in Elkhart, IN. Courtney was a 2014 graduate of Dowagiac Union High School. She loved dancing and singing. Courtney enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word searches. She loved animals and owned many over the years. Courtney loved love and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
Surviving are her mother and step-father, Tammy (Dale) Russell; father, Timothy Hershberger; three sisters, Ashley (Tyler) Garner, Emily (Abel) Chavarria, and Tiffany (Xavier Steward) Hershberger; two step-siblings, Michael Russell, and Madyson (Drew Myers) Russell; nine nieces and nephews, Alexa, Audree, Wyatt, Winston, Wesson, Evelyn, Gabriel, Kataleya, and Addison; great-grandfather, George Tabbert Sr; grandparents, George Jr (Edna) Tabbert, Joseph (Joan) Hershberger and Ruthanne Stewart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding her in death were five stillborn sons; and a niece, Brooklyn.
