Darold's Obituary
Darold D. Dispennett, 71, Coloma, MI, died on December 29, 2025, after a long battle with heart disease. He was born on December 9, 1954, in Goshen, IN to Donald and Barbara (Fowler). He was married to Jill (Norton) on July 6, 1986.
Surviving are wife, Jill, brother Douglas (Genya) of Goshen, nephews Douglas Riley, Jack Norton Jr, and nieces Heather and Angela, Samantha and Rebecca as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers(in-law) Jack and Jim Norton.
Darold worked many years as a pipefitter/welder for many years and retired out of Local Union 357 Kalamazoo, MI.
Darold loved to travel around the country. He and Jill lived in Texas for some years where they enjoyed the beach, boating, fishing, and riding their Harley. They moved to Michigan in 1989, where they have resided since. In retirement, Darold and Jill Enjoyed developing and maintaining their farm in Bangor.
Darold loved his John Deere tractor AKA “Jenny Dear”.
