Mick's Obituary
Friends may visit with the Family Thursday June 19, 2025 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Military Rites conducted by Stevensville American Legion Post #568 and a time of sharing will follow at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mick was born April 1, 1941 in Benton Harbor to Vernon & Dorothy Hart. He graduated from Eau Claire High School, Class of 1959. Mick served his country in the US Army, stationed in Hawaii. On November 14, 1963 he married the former Marilyn Rindfield in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mick joined his Father shortly after in the family business, Hart Well Drilling, which is still operated by his son Mike. Mick was an avid golfer, playing every chance he had, and was a member of Coloma American Legion Post #362, St. Joseph-Benton Harbor Elks #541, the Benton Harbor Moose Lodge, Tunnels to Towers and the Wounded Warriors. Mick was right at home at those places, visiting with his many friends, he never met a stranger.
Mick is survived by his wife Marilyn; his children-Mike Hart, Julie Hart &Brian (Kerry) Hart; four grandchildren-Miranda, Kegan, Mattisyn & Chaz; great-grandson Milo his sister Nancy Spitzke; his brother Dan Hart; several nieces & nephews; special friends-Frankie Mc Cain, Jim & Sharon Dewey, Jim & Connie Bohn, Kenny Benjamin, and others too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Kathy.
