Debby was born on February 18, 1959 to Duane and Mary Lou (Brown) Ziemke in St. Joseph. A lifelong resident of the area, Debby was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a lifelong member. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and continued to dedicate herself to the church where she served in various facets, including the children’s ministry and Community Outreach Director. Debby loved her work through the church and made countless lifelong friendships through the church and surrounding communities thanks to her caring and loving nature. Her selflessness was felt by all those Debby helped personally or those reached through her programs to give back to the community.

Debby enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower garden and having an active social life. She hosted numerous cook-outs and dinners for her friends and family to enjoy each other’s company. She was an incredibly wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. On October 15, 1993, Debby married Michael Miskill and the two could often be found walking their beloved dog, Abby, around the block.

Debby will always be remembered by her husband, Mike Miskill; children, Trina (Brian) Lawrence; Matthew (Ashleigh) Gilbert; and Robert Miskill; grandchildren, Hailey, Hayden, and Ella Lawrence and Walker, Camryn, and Witten Gilbert; and siblings, Linda (Alan) Showerman and Michael (Stacy) Ziemke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Mary Lou Ziemke.
