Della Carter, 80, of Niles, MI., passed away in her home on Monday, September 25, 2023.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Emphysema Foundation. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.swemchapel.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Swem Chapel, Buchanan.
Della was born on February 9, 1943, in Buchanan to the late Wallace and Lola (Pendley) Norris. She is survived by her children, Tony (Gail) Warren, Mark (Linda) Warren, Troy (Dar) Warren, Brandon (Stephanie) Carter, Kellee (Dana) Densmore and Kimberlee (James) Miller; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Della is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Edsel L. Carter and siblings, twin sister, Stella Ward, Evelean Dillavou, Clara Nelson and Charles Norris.
