Delois Osborn, 81, of Bangor, Michigan peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Rest Haven Care Center in Holland Michigan.
Visitation will be at Kibbie Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 11:00 A.M., until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M. Pastors Vern Swieringa and Gerrit Haagsma, will officiate. Delois will be laid to rest at Hoppin Cemetery, 55430 28th Ave, Bangor, Michigan. She was born August 15, 1941, in Marmaduke, Arkansas to Letha (Moore) and Otto Caldwell. Delois married Joseph Elson Osborn on March 7, 1956 and five children came from this union. She was a founding member of Bangor Baptist Church. Delois loved flower gardening and bird watching at their home in Bangor. Delois also loved pets, often times bringing strays into their home.
Delois is survived by her children, Robin (John) Lynn of Riddleton, Tennessee, Becky (Brian) Beukema of Holland, Joseph (Robin) Osborn of South Haven, John (Dawn) Osborn of Allegan and Son-in-law; Leroy Guernsey of Bangor. She also leaves Sixteen Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchilren and One Great-Great Grandchild. Brothers; Donald (Barb) Caldwell of Bangor, Michigan and Jay (Virginia) Caldwell of Plant City, Florida.
Delois was preceded by her husband; Joseph Elson Osborn on February 1, 2020, Daughter; Sandra Guernsey who passed in 2012., Sisters and brother; Anna Mae, Joan “Billie”, Frankie Jean, Sonny and Barbara Ann, Carlene.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Filbrandt Chapel of Starks Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 269-637-0333.
