Dona Dascola, 71, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 15, 2024 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware Ave., Benton Harbor, MI, 49022 with Fr. John Ambrose officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085 with prayers recited at 7:00 P.M. Dona was born August 1, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph Biederman and Dorothy Ethel (Pillar) Sheldon. She graduated from Parma High School. In July of 1978 she married Anthony Dascola. Dona was an office manager for 5th Third Bank for many years. She was a wonderful mother who was devoted to her children and was always there for anything they needed. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching her favorite tv shows and her grand dog Penny.
Dona is survived by her husband Anthony Dascola; sons Christopher (Candice) Dascola and Andrew (Gina) Dascola; grandchildren Olivia, Peyton, Luca and Dante; and sisters, Beverly (late Don) Lange and Barbara Ross and brother, Spencer (Meredith) Sheldon. Dona was preceded in death by her parents.
