On May 5, 1956, Dorothy married Charles “Chuck” Kasun. Chuck worked as a detective with the local Sheriff’s department. Dorothy married Rev. Frederick J. Davey on May 27, 2001, and became a pastor’s wife. At that time, she gained four children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren. The couple pastored the Crystal Springs Church of God in Benton Harbor for eight years, and then enjoyed retirement years together until Fred died on August 6, 2019. She had a gift for hospitality and served people well.
