Douglas J. “Doug”, Kush, of Naperville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at his lake house in Dowagiac, Michigan.

Doug was born March 10, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert and Nancy (Nowak) Kush. He attended and graduated from Gabriel Richard High School in 1984. After high school, Doug proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1988 to 1998 Doug attended Kenyon College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in physics and economics and then went on to Carnegie Mellon University where he earned is MBA. On March 24, 1990, he married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Wesol. Doug currently was working for Egon Zehnder as a partner at their Chicago office. He had a love for the outdoors where he enjoyed golfing, biking and boating. Most of all he loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Doug is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Kush; children, Ryan (Olivia) Kush, Alexis (Jack Crain) Kush and Madison Kush; mother, Nancy Kush; siblings, Dawn (Michael) LeBlanc, Jeffery (Melissa) Kush and Jennifer (Aaron) Enzer; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kush.
