Earl's Obituary
Earl Jackson Wilson, 49, of Dowagiac, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at his home.
He was born on April 23, 1976, in Berrien Center, Michigan.
Earl was such a special person and loved by so many. Although he never had what we would consider a job, he was called for a higher purpose and that was to make our lives fuller and enjoy all he was and all that he did. And after giving of himself for so many years and contributing to major milestone in genetics, his work on earth is done and now he can at last talk verbally to his savior Jesus Christ.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather - Lynn and Bill Spooner of Dowagiac; four brothers - John Wright of Dowagiac, Robert (Laura) Wilson of Dowagiac, Edward (Tracy) Wilson of Elk Creek, Virginia, and Clifton (Lynda) Wilson; many aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Preceding him in death were his father - Harold Matthew Wilson Jr.; two brothers - Larry Wilson, and Harold Matthew “Matt” Wilson III.
A service to celebrate Earl’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center St, Dowagiac. Pastor Don Damron will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Clark Chapel in Earl’s name. Please visit Earl’s personalized webpage to share a memory or leave a condolence to his family at www.clarkch.com.
