Edwin's Obituary
Edwin Lee Jones Jr. 1952-2025
It is with a heavy yet relieved heart, now that he has found peace in the Lord's arms, that we announce the passing of Edwin Lee Jones Jr. (The Champ)
Edwin entered into rest on Saturday March 15, 2025 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Edwin and Rev. Jessie Jones. His siblings; Wanda Baker, Marilyn Jones, Shirley Jefferson, Glenette Bostic, Ralph Jones Sr, Sandra Pruitt, and John Paul Jones.
Here to cherish his memories are his children; Edwin Jones III (Tramaine) and Paralee Jones. His grandchildren; Brooklyn Jones, Braylon Jones, and Dallas Foster. His siblings; David Jones (Suzette), Flossie Jones, and Sarah Jones. Plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
The Champ lived 25 lifetimes in his 72 years of life. Being a strong willed man, he left a lasting impression with everyone he met. "Ed Jones was internationally known," to know him was to laugh, relax, and have a great time.
-Look for me in the things I loved, that's where you'll find me-
