Ernest “Ernie” Brohman, 95, of Berrien Springs, MI crossed over to Heaven on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Heritage Chapel and Cremation Service, 8747 US 31, Berrien Spring, MI. A private inurnment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Boys Town, 200 Flanagan Blvd., Boys Town, NE 68010-9988. A lifelong resident of Berrien Springs, MI Ernest was born April 28, 1928 to Paul & Ardys (Wright) Brohman. He graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1947. On September 1, 1950 he married Doris Eggleston at First E.U.B. Church in Niles, MI. Ernie worked as Head Custodian for Berrien Springs Public Schools for many years. He was one of the founding members of the Korn Dog Stand at the Berrien County Youth Fair as well as a charter member of the Rolling Shamrocks Camping Club and a member of the Jaycees. Ernie was a die-hard Detroit Tigers Fan and also enjoyed the Detroit Lions. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, doing word searches and on every Tuesday through Friday you would see him eating lunch at Hoppers Restaurant in Berrien Springs. Most of all Ernie loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ernest is survived by his sons Richard (Karen) Brohman and James (Bonnie) Brohman; daughter-in-law Linda Brohman; grandchildren Katie (Steve) Wideen, Betsey (Jeff) Cleveland, Jennifer Ammerman, Paul (Emily) Brohman, Michael (Catherine) Brohman, and Amanda Brohman; great-grandchildren Dylan, Ryan, Lucas, Deacon, Larkin, Dawson, and Zackary; sister Ellen Miller; brother Jerry (Carol) Brohman and several nieces and nephews.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Ardys Brohman; Loving wife, Doris Brohman; son, Kenneth Brohman; grandson, Bryan James Brohman and brother-in-law, William Miller.
