Everett Earl Little, 91, of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at The Witcomb Assisted Living. A private family service will be held. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at

Everett was born on May 24, 1932, in Sugar Tree, TN, to William & Dora (Faulkner) Little. On June 22, 1957, Everett married the love of his life, Sylvia Michael, in Millburg. Everett proudly enlisted in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1956, when he was honorably discharged. Following his return home, he began working for Paramount Die Casting and Premier Tool and Die as a tool and die maker and precision die repair man until his retirement. Everett was very skilled when it came to being Mr. Fix-it to his family’s home; whenever anything was broken, he was able to fix it. However, what gave him the
most joy was spending time with his family.
Everett is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Sylvia; daughters, Deborah (Paul) Abbott of Andrews, IN and Janet (Jeffrey) Smith of St. Joseph; grandchildren, James Jones, Jennifer (Ryan) Marshall, Justin (Tricia) Smith, and Julie (Jacob) Martin; great-grandchildren, Madison, Makenzie, Elliott, Jaxson, Joel, Jolene, and Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Dora; infant son, David Earl Little; great-granddaughter, Scarlett; four brothers; and two sisters.
