Frank D. Anzenberger III, 70, of Dowagiac, MI, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Corewell Health Niles Hospital in Niles, Michigan.
Frank began life on March 31, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of Frank D Anzenberger and Mildred J (Weber) Anzenberger. Frank was a 1972 graduate of Sharon High School, Sharon, PA. He then proudly served in the US Army from 1972 to 1976. After living in Kansas City, KS, Memphis, TN, and South Bend, IN, he settled in Dowagiac to marry his soul mate, Gail L. Klett. They were united in marriage on December 20, 2000.
Surviving are three sisters – Margaret "Peggy" Ellis of Pittsburgh, PA, Karen M. Tatta (Eugene) of Hermitage, PA and Janice T. Anzenberger of Mercer, PA; two brothers - Mark J. Anzenberger (Hollie) of Sheffield Lake, OH, and Michael J. Anzenberger (Beth Crow) of Moon Twp. PA; brother-in-law – James (Andrea) Klett of Lawrence, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in his death were his wife – Gail Klett-Anzenberger; and parents - Frank on May 18, 2016, and Mildred on December 23, 2023.
Honoring Frank’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public service at this time. Memorial contributions in Frank’s name may be directed to the Leader Dogs for the Blind, Rochester, MI (www.leaderdog.org). Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Chapel - Starks Family Funeral Homes, Dowagiac, MI.
