Junior's Obituary
Frank “Junior” Corsello, Jr, 62, of Benton Harbor passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Spectrum Health Lakeland. A Celebration of Life Service Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Junior was born on July 13, 1959, in Benton Harbor, to Frank, Sr. & Pearl (Ornsby) Corsello. While in elementary school, Junior joined the Boy Scouts. He worked his way from being a Cub Scout all the way to an Eagle Scout, and would ultimately end up as an assistant Den Leader. He would graduate from Benton Harbor High School in 1979. For over 30 years, Junior worked at various autobody mechanic shops. He loved working with his hands and creating gifts for his family. He was most remembered for the beautiful snow globes he made for the women in his family, the rubber band shooters he made for the children and the incredible light up Medusa Head. Two things that Junior would never miss out on would be a meal featuring pasta & marinara and skipping out on an opportunity to embarrass his two children. Although Junior was known to make people laugh, what he was most known for was his generous heart and willingness to help anyone in need.
Junior is survived by his children, Christa (Matthew) Sliter and Thomas Corsello, both of Benton Harbor; siblings, Jack (Paula) Corsello of Benton Harbor, Mike Corsello of Comanche, TX, and Mary Hanners of Berrien Springs; great-grand niece, Luna Atwater; dear friend/partner-in-crime, Ron Mckie; any numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank, Sr., & Pearl; siblings, Angeline Corsello-Case, Margaret Corsello, and Rosemary Corsello; grandson, Mason Sliter; and sister-in-law, Tammy Corsello.
