Gary Lehmann, 74, of Sodus, passed away, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Westwoods of Bridgman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M., Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs. Friends may visit with the Family from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus. Memorial donations in Gary’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Gary was born April 16, 1951 in Benton Harbor to Victor & Genevieve Lehmann. He graduated from Eau Claire High School, Class of 1970. Gary worked for several years for the Berrien County Road Commission from 2000 until his retirement in 2013. He took great pride in the work he did mowing and plowing for everyone on his route. Gary’s pride and joy was his one hundred-fifty acre farm in Sodus where he raised apples, pigs, cattle and most recently grain. He cherished the time being outdoors tending to his land and raising crops. In his free time, Gary enjoyed duck & pheasant hunting. His will be deeply missed by his family and many friends and colleagues.
Gary is survived by his sister Judie Isbrecht of Sodus. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law Donald Isbrecht on November 15, 2022.
