Guy's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Churchill, 74, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully in Zephyrhills, Florida on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Guy proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. While overseas, he met the love of his life, Tusanee (Newey). On July 10, 1972, they were married. They had two sons, Thomas and Ty, during their 52 years of marriage.
After his military service, he dedicated many years to hard work and public service, spending time working for both the railroad and the US Postal Service. Guy was happiest when he was fishing, hunting, bowling, playing horseshoes and shuffleboard, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tusanee (Newey) Churchill, his sons, Thomas (Shelly) Churchill and Ty (Sonja) Churchill, and his cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind his devoted sister, Nora (William) Spearritt and brother, John (Clara) Churchill. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Ann Churchill and brother, Joe Churchill.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at Lake Michigan Christian Center, located at 9955 Church Street, Bridgman, MI, 49106 on Sunday, July 13 at 2 pm.
