Hazel's Obituary
Hazel P. Little, 98, of Saint Joseph, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025 at West Woods of Bridgman Nursing Center.
There will be a burial at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma at 2:30pm on Friday, June 13,2025, where Hazel will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Leonard. Those wishing to share a memory online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Hazel was born January 12, 1927 in Wardell, Missouri to Charles and Lillie Scott. Hazel married her “One and Only” Love, Leonard R. Little in Corinth, Mississippi. Hazel will be remembered most by her devotion to family and faith to God. She was an active member for many years at Christian Reformed Church in St. Joseph. And, of course, no one will ever forget her famous homemade cherry and apple pies!!!
Hazel is survived by two daughters-in-law Dana Little, Melba Little, and by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by her father, Charles Scott, mother, Lillie Scott, husband, Leonard R. Little, sisters Juanita Little, Alma Jane (Jean) Buys, five brothers Thomas Scott, Woodrow Scott, Billy Scott, Jesse Scott, Jimmy Scott, three daughters Dora J. Little, Ruby C. Emlong, Linda S. Scott, five sons Jimmie R. Little, Leonard F. Little, Larry J. Little, Charles R. Little, Melvin L. Little, and four grandchildren Kary L. Hall, Michael T. Hall, Jimmie R. Little, Melvin L. Little II.
