Heather's Obituary
Heather Marie LaFond, 48, of South Haven, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2022 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Born on August 27, 1973 in South Haven to William and Wendybeth LaFond.
Heather is survived by daughters Jewel Franklin and Jade Franklin, grandchildren, Anthony “AJ” Thoman and Lucille Siler. Also survived by sister Jennifer LaFond.
Preceded in death by parents William and Wendybeth LaFond and brother Shawn LaFond.
Heather put her family first, especially her girls, the sun rose and set with her two daughters. She would give you the shirt off her back. Heather was always helping others and putting others before herself. She loved crafting and nature, being outside in the peaceful quiet. Everyone who met her loved her, she will be greatly missed.
Visitation for Heather will be at Filbrandt Chapel Funeral Home, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven, Michigan on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral at 12 p.m. Pastor Eric Jarvis will Officiate. Heather will be laid to rest at Stephenson Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Filbrandt Chapel-Starks Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. 269-637-0333.
