Helen J. Sikkema, 103, of Dowagiac, passed away early Thursday morning, December 11, 2025.
She was born on February 8, 1922, in Montana.
Surviving are her son, Tom (Ruth) Nash; 2 grandchildren, Anthony (Vida) Nash and Clint Nash; and 8 grandchildren, Domnick Nash, T.J. (Alex) Amalfi, Tyler (Emily) Nash, Jameson Nash, Kylia Nash, Ashley Nash, Bailey Nash and Milana Nash.
Preceding her in death were her father and stepmother, Russell and Mable Manto; mother, Velma (Jones) Fleming; 2 brothers, Leland Manto and Larry Manto; and two sisters, Virginia Redlick and Annabelle Thornton Nemethy.
Honoring Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will be celebrating her life privately.
Arrangements were entrusted to Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, Dowagiac.
