Henry R. Miller, 82, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in Gainesville, Florida.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 30, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI with Rev. Daniel P. Mackey of Grace Lutheran Church in Muncie, IN officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Henry’s name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 610 N. Reserve Street, Muncie, IN 47303. Henry was born March 11, 1940 in Benton Harbor, MI to Henry B. & Christine (Kuemich) Miller. He graduated from Eau Claire High School, Class of 1958 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University in Agriculture in 1963. On August 25, 1962 he married Naomi “Amy” Bonkowski in Benton Harbor. For 40 years he was a salesman of agricultural chemicals and office furniture. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Muncie, IN and Kiwanis Club.
Henry is survived by his wife Amy; two sons Edward (Allison) Miller of Boston, MA & Stephen (Lynn) Miller of Gainesville, FL; his grandchildren Thea, Emerson, Grayson, and Sawyer; his sister Christine Whitman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Manfred Miller.
