Jim's Obituary
James “Jim” Roger Crouse, 71, of Benton Harbor, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 24, 2021.
Jim’s family will receive guests from 1pm until time of Elks service at 3pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society, www.humanesocietyswm.org.
Jim was born December 13, 1949 in St. Joseph, MI to Dale and Elsie (Beringson) Crouse. Jim spent 35 years working at Cook Plant as a supervisor until his retirement. Jim met and married Laura Feaga on June 8, 1991. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. He was also a long-time fan of U of M sports and the Detroit Red Wings. Jim also loved to golf. He was a friendly, social person who will be missed by many.
Jim is survived by his wife of 30 years, Laura Crouse; his grandchildren, Tony (Alexa), Jes (Nora), Gabriella (Eric), Austin, and Christopher; six great grandchildren; his siblings, Jack (Eileen) Crouse, Judith (the late Tony) Moscardelli, Jon Crouse, and Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Crouse; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Crouse; and his parents.
