Jeannie Fay Briney, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 30, 2026. She was born on April 25, 1956, to Loyse and Stella (Davis) Fulbright in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
Visitation with Jeannie’s family will take place on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd. Saint Joseph, Michigan 49085. A celebration of life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the family c/o Jeannie’s daughter, Michele Briney. Jeannie is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Mike) Norman, Michele Briney; grandchildren, Krista & Walker Curley; one great-grandson, Anthony Hauweghen; sister Bonnie Boone; and brother Terry Fulbright; two sisters-in-law Carol Briney and Teresa Briney and many nieces and nephews; and a close family friend Jeffery Dopp. She was proceeded in death by her parents. Her husband Michael Briney; two sisters Diane Demaria and Stella “Darlene” Miller her brother Darrel Fulbright.
