Jeannie was born on October 2, 1956, to Henry and Beverly Mroczek in Paw Paw, MI. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1975 and continued her education at Parsons Business College. Professionally, Jeannie worked in administrative support for Tri County Head Start and Bronson Hospital. Her true passion, however, was art. Jeannie was blessed with an incredible talent to transform seemingly ordinary materials like a lump of clay or wildflower into masterpieces. She owned her own arts and crafts business for many years and used her talents to spark joy in others. In addition, for years, Jeannie loved planning and setting up tailgate parties at Notre Dame football games. She encouraged friends and family members to attend….and, because of her kindness, that even included Michigan fans.

Jeannie had deep love for her life partner, Chris. Their bond of mutual support and caring relationship meant the world to her. Most of all, Jeannie was a kind and gentle person who cherished time spent with her family and friends, she was fiercely protective of her children, and she adored her granddaughter, Coralyne. For those of us who were blessed to be touched by Jeannie, she made an imprint on our hearts that will last forever.

Jeannie is survived by her mother, Beverly (Clifford Farrow) Mroczek; daughter, Amanda Melville; son, Andrew Melville, granddaughter, Coralyne Richards; siblings, Michael (Vicki) Mroczek, Larry Mroczek, David (Laura) Mroczek, Sherri Stambek, Nancy (Tim) Loney; and longtime partner, Chris Kadulski. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Nickolas Stambek and father, Henry Mroczek. Always loved, never forgotten and forever missed.
