John C. Crump, 81, of Decatur, MI, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Timbers of Cass County in Dowagiac.

John was born February 10, 1941, in Mountain View, Arkansas, to John Woodrow Wilson and Gladys Agnus (Long) Crump. He graduated from Dowagiac High School. John was a hard worker, he worked for Sunstrand in Dowagiac for many years, and then Welch’s in Lawton until his retirement. He was known as a quiet man that kept to himself. John was artistic and enjoyed playing pool. Most of all he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his siblings, James H. (Dawn) Crump, Louann (Brad) Vrooman, and Jerry Crump; son, Nicholas Crump; one grandson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Owens.
