John's Obituary
John E. Young Sr, 83, of Dowagiac, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 13, 2026, at Beacon Hospital Dowagiac.
He was born on June 11, 1942, in Indianola, MS.
Surviving are 2 sons, John Young Jr, and David (Fishan) Young; three grandchildren, Michelle, Micah, and Watipa Young; two brothers, Richard (Beverly) Young and Roy (Chavonne) Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Preceding him in death were his father, Alonzo Young Sr; mother, Viola (Weathersby) Pete; and three brothers, Alonzo Young Jr, Sam Young, and Troy Stewart.
