Jonnie's Obituary
Jonnie Weston, 84, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home in Decatur. She was born August 9, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI to Oliver and Keitha (Skinner) Pritchard.
Jonnie enjoyed helping on the farm raising dairy goats. She will always be fondly remembered as the baby goat whisperer, able to feed every newborn baby goat born on the farm. She was also known as grandma to many 4-H, horse show and dance student friends. She and her husband Bob touched so many lives through the years with their concession stands and support of their grandchildren that she will be remembered fondly by many.
Jonnie will be missed by her daughters, Susan Weston, and Kitty (Randall) Pielemeier; and her grandchildren, Katherine Pielemeier, and Robert Louis Weston. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Weston; her brother, Frank Pritchard; and her parents.
A celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Decatur Human Services, 102 S. Phelps St., Decatur, MI 49045.
